With more than two decades of experience, Pornomotora has left a deep mark on the Colombian music scene. Founded by Christian de la Espriella in 1999, this influential industrial alternative rock band has gained recognition for its artistic excellence and creativity. They have been nominated for the MTV Latin America Awards in the categories of Best New Artist and Best Independent Artist, in addition to receiving more than 10 nominations and an award at the prestigious Shock Magazine Awards, among other recognitions. The band has taken its music nationally and internationally, participating in prominent festivals in Venezuela, Argentina and Mexico. Their presence at events like Rock al Parque in Bogotá, the largest free rock festival in Latin America, has left a lasting impression. Considered the most important industrial alternative rock band in Colombia, in 2019 they celebrated their twentieth anniversary with the release of the single "Nadie es Inocente", which featured collaborations with notable artists such as Dilson Díaz of La Pestilencia and Nicolai Fella of Los Petit Fellas. This song quickly rose to the top of national radio stations, consolidating Pornomotora as a benchmark in Colombian rock. Currently, the band is focused on taking its music beyond the borders of Colombia and is working on expansion plans outside the country, with projects to enter the United States and Europe.
